The UK Particle Accelerator Engineering Network is organizing an engineering conference on the topic of Medical Accelerators. The half-day conference will take place at the Institute of Cancer Research in Sutton on the 12th of July 2023.

This conference is taking a uniquely engineering focused view of the medical application of accelerators. The focus will be on UK developments so speakers will be from a variety of UK based companies and research facilities.

The first half of the event will see a focus on current technology with Kevin J. Brown, MBE CPhys, FInstP, opening the event as the key-note speaker on the evolution of radiotherapy. The second half of the event will then move to more future looking technology.

The event will close with a unique opportunity to join a tour of the Royal Marsden radiotherapy department, places are strictly limited and MUST be booked in advance.
