Aims |

The aim is for students to develop an understanding of the practical application of theories and technical skills in a real work environment. Additionally, project (team) based activities will allow the students to develop their transferable skills and professional competence, leading to enhanced employability. |

Learning Outcomes |

(LO1) Gain experience in a real work environment by assuming responsibility for tasks and completing these tasks on time and to a given quality. |

(LO2) Gain understanding of the host company/organisation. In doing so, broaden knowledge of the application of mathematics and the importance of this in the relevant field/industry. |
