Aims |

The module aims to enable the student to: Understand the principles and role of operations management in organisations; Understand and thereby select suitable types of inter-relationships within the supply chain; Select suitable tools and techniques to achieve efficient and effective operations management and supply chain management for a given application. |
Learning Outcomes |

(LO1) Students will be able to select methods of inventory management and capacity management fora given application. |

(LO2) Students will know when to apply lean and agile supply respectively and how to combine both strategies in a whole supply chain. |
