Aims |

The aims of this module will be to provide students with the knowledge and skills to understand and critically evaluate the implications of ethical issues in the context of finance with particular reference to the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and the Standards of Professional Conduct. |
Learning Outcomes |

(LO1) Students will be able to understand the main issues of broad ethical principles concerning the obligations of employers and employees towards each other and towards their clients. |

(LO2) Students will be able to evaluate and apply the CFA Institute Code of Ethics and Standards of Professional Conduct. |

(LO3) Students will be able to critically evaluate the ethical issues, ethical practices and ethical dilemmas in the context of finance. |

(LO4) Students will be able to evaluate the main regulations affecting the banking and the financial sector. |

(LO5) Students will be able to critically analyse how regulation impacts on banks and the financial sector. |
