Marco is Experimental Officer and Research Associate in the Rosseinsky group at the Department of Chemistry at the University of Liverpool. He primarily deals with high throughput synthesis of inorganic materials and electron microscopy for a group of over 60 researchers.
He received his Master's degree in Physics from the University of Padua (2004) and his PhD in Physics from the University of Marburg (2007).
He held research positions at University of California Berkley and the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia before a move to the private sector as a scientific consultant. He has published over 50 papers in peer reviewed journals including Nature and other nature publishing journals.
