Bioluminescence & Fluorescence Imaging
The IVIS spectrum imaging system (PerkinElmer) allows bioluminescence and fluorescence imaging of both in vivo and in vitro samples. It enables high sensitivity, non-invasive, imaging permitting monitoring of processes such as disease progression, cell trafficking, and gene expression patterns in living animals.
Currently active projects:
- Exogenous cell tracking
- Monitoring of tumour growth
- Detection of metastases
- Development of novel molecular imaging probes
