About

I am the Project Administrator for the EPSRC Centre for Doctoral Training (CDT) in Digital and Automated Materials Chemistry (DAMC CDT) at the University of Liverpool. I bring over a decade of experience in higher education research administration, spanning roles in the UK and Sweden across a wide range of scientific disciplines and funding contexts.

Before joining the CDT, I supported projects in the Institute of Infection, Veterinary & Ecological Sciences at Liverpool. Prior to that, I worked for seven years as Project Coordinator in the Division of Biomedical Engineering at Uppsala University, Sweden. There, I managed a broad portfolio of responsibilities including proposal development, recruitment, financial and scientific reporting, communications, event coordination, and project management for major EU-funded initiatives such as ERC grants and Marie Skłodowska-Curie training networks.

Earlier in my career, I worked as a Portfolio Manager at the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC), where I managed the photonics portfolio within the ICT Theme and acted as the main contact for two Centres for Doctoral Training. I later joined the Research Infrastructure Theme, where I helped coordinate expert panels and worked with the UK research community to develop national equipment strategies and infrastructure roadmaps.

I hold a PhD in Organic Electronics from Bangor University, where I researched the growth and characterisation of functional molecular wires. I’m passionate about enabling research environments to thrive through structured coordination, thoughtful administration, and collaborative relationships. My approach is detail-oriented, proactive, and people-focused — whether I'm managing a large public outreach event or supporting a research group day-to-day
