Research
My primary research interest is the life and work of James Ellroy. All but one of my books has been about Ellroy, and I'm currently guest-editing (with Nathan Ashman at UEA) a special issue of Clues: A Journal of Detection dedicated to the thirtieth anniversary of the publication of Ellroy's novel 'American Tabloid'.
