About

Dr. Joanne Lyubovnikova is a Reader (Associate Professor) in Organisational Behaviour, Postgraduate Teaching Lead, and Director of Studies for the MSc Occupational and Organisational Psychology and the MSc in Business Psychology and Strategic People Management at the University of Liverpool Management School.

Dr. Lyubovnikova holds a First-Class Honours degree in Social Psychology from Loughborough University (2005), an MSc in Work Psychology and Business from Aston Business School (2007), and a PhD in Management from Aston Business School (2011). Her research has been published in leading peer-reviewed journals including the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology, Journal of Business Ethics, International Journal of Management Reviews, and the Journal of Product Innovation Management. She has served as an Associate Editor for the Journal of Occupational and Organizational Psychology since 2022.

Alongside her academic work, Dr. Lyubovnikova is a Registered Occupational Psychologist (BPS; HCPC) and partners with organisations across the public and private sectors to deliver executive education and evaluate evidence-based strategies that strengthen team effectiveness, foster responsible leadership, and drive innovation. Her work aims to bridge research and practice, contributing to the advancement of occupational and organisational psychology both in the classroom and in real-world settings.
