I am a researcher, a trained health psychologist (stage 1) and a qualified social worker. Prior to becoming a researcher (in 2003), I worked in local government, the NHS, and various non-governmental organisations. I have also been employed as a part-time lecturer in HE. I am currently working on various health and social care projects, and I will shortly be completing my PhD thesis on elders accessing psychological therapies (EAPT).
