I am a Lecturer in the Department of Psychology. My research examines links between the social and built environment and childhood health.
I have a BA (Hons) degree in Sport Development from Liverpool John Moores University (2013; 1st Class). In my PhD research, also conducted at Liverpool John Moores University, I examined determinants of children’s out-of-school physical activity. The thesis was awarded the Professor Tom Reilly Doctoral Dissertation of the Year Award in 2018 by the British Association of Sport and Exercise Sciences. From 2016, I worked as a Lecturer at Edge Hill University. I joined the University of Liverpool as a Lecturer in 2019.
