I am a Clinical Research Fellow in Dental Public Health in the Department of Health Services Research. I am currently working on a NIHR funded project called RETURN (InteRventions to rEduce inequaliTies in the Uptake of Routine deNtal care). The aim of this project is to improve the routine use of dental services by those who currently only use emergency dental services. This will look at the perceived barriers and looking at practical steps that can be taken to overcome these. The project will have a significant input from both patients and members of the local communities.
Prior to my current role I was working as a GDP (General Dental Practitioner) in Merseyside and North Wales. I graduated from the University of Liverpool with a BDS (Bachelor of Dental Surgery) in 2015.
