Partner with us

We work with a broad range of collaborators in order to realise our vision, which is to make a difference to the health and well-being of societies, locally and globally.

The Institute of Population Health Sciences works in collaboration with partners and funders to deliver world-class research. We are proud of the broad portfolio of successful partnerships we have developed across the public and private sector, and we believe in the power of partnership working to disseminate the impact of our research.

Our partnerships range from multinational companies, such as Unilever and Sony, to public sector organisations including NHS Merseycare, the Department of Health, and Liverpool City Council. We also engage with charities, research councils and universities in the UK and abroad.

Our research is demonstrating measurable impacts and tangible results. In fact, our research performance targets have increased every year since 2009. This has strengthened our partnerships and enabled the Institute to increase its funding potential.

The Institute is led by a community of world-leading academics who are supported by teams of dedicated researchers and over 100 postgraduate research students. Our collaborative learning environment and state-of-the-art facilities enable our team to deliver truly transformational results.

Our approach is that if it isn't practical for the end user then it isn't worth their investment in us. This ethos is why we pride ourselves on research that makes a difference.
