NeST workshop on engagement with industry

On Friday 1st December NeST held a workshop focusing on pathways to engaging with industry and the public sector in the UK.

The workshop was attended by Prof Cliff Brereton, former Head of the Hartree Centre and now director of OCF Data, who is acting as an External Advisor for NeST.

Present were also several members of the Networks and Distributed Computing research group of the Department of Computer Science.

Following presentations by the participating members on their reserach interests, there was fruitful discussion about potential ways of engaging with industry, as well as relevant sectors which their research may provide applications for.
