BBSRC and MRC fund new National Ageing Network - Skin Microbiome in Healthy Ageing
“This new microbiome and ageing network will act to bring research groups together in a meaningful way. The planned programme of the SMiHA network will build activity in skin ageing and related conditions affected by changing skin microbiota that can affect health and wellbeing. The interface between academic and commercial research in these fields needs strengthened in the UK and is another expected outcome.”
