Personal Statement

A graduate of the University of Liverpool, Dr Roberts trained in Merseyside and Melbourne, Australia and was appointed in 2014 as a Consultant Anaesthetist in Warrington & Halton Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. She is a Fellow of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and her clinical interest is in obstetric anaesthesia and she is the Obstetric Anaesthesia Lead in Warrington Hospital. Dr Roberts developed her interest in medical education through teaching at a post graduate level and instructing on courses such as Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Advanced Paediatric Life Support (APLS). She completed her Diploma in Medical Education through the University of Dundee in 2019. She joined the Clinical Assessment Team as Deputy Clinical Station Assessment Lead in 2018. Dr Roberts is the Honorary Secretary for the Liverpool Society of Anaesthetists which holds six educational meetings per annum.
