Yongxiang Fang is a statistician and bioinformatician with research interests in methodology and tools for biological data analysis. Before moving to the UK, he was awarded a MSc and worked in Harbin Institute of Technology (HIT), a top university in China, for a few years. After a PhD in Salford University, he worked in Manchester University and Lancaster University for a few years respectively before moving to the Centre for Genomic Research. He has published researches on a wide range of journals including System Dynamic Review, PNAS, Genome Biology, Nature Biotechnology, Nature Communication etc. In the past three years (2015-2017) He has 14 journal papers published.
