Personal Statement

I am a research technician assessing the efficacy of stem-cell therapy in cartilage repair in the Institute of Integrative Biology.

I graduated with a BSc in Human Biology and an MSc in Analytical Bioscience from the University of Huddersfield in 2012, after which I took a position working as a pharmacologist in Liverpool for two years, analysing the affinity and efficacy of novel small molecule therapeutics in 'in vitro' models. In 2014 I began a PhD in cellular oncology investigating the role of exosomes in the pathology and progression of uveal melanoma.
