Personal Statement
Completed my PhD in Biological Science at the University of Aberdeen in 2018, bore starting my current position at the University of Liverpool.
My research interests revolve around how species respond and evolve to climate change, with a focus on biological communities. Within my PhD I studied how the range shifting species Ischnura elegans adapted to novel biotic and abiotic environments in newly colonised portions of its range in North East Scotland. In my current position I am using a long term climate change experiment to understand how plant species are adapting to warming and drought, and how these adaptation feed back to plant community stability
