Personal Statement

Following a BSc. in Medical Sciences Lucille obtained her PhD at the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. She has worked as a postdoctoral research associate at the University of Liverpool on various projects including DNA repair genes of Aspergillus nidulans, Type III secretion genes of Burkholderia pseudomallei, the E6 gene product of Human Papilloma virus and the Latency-Associated Nuclear Antigen (LANA) of Kaposi Sarcoma Herpesvirus.
Lucille joined the Centre for Genomic Research in 2010.
