    Biography

    Personal Statement

Currently, I work as a PDRA in Raj Whitlocks research group. I study the impact of global warming on microbial evolution and how this may affect plant community functioning. In addition to working at the University of Liverpool I carry out field work at Ness Botanic Gardens and the Buxton Climate Change Impacts Lab (BCCIL). My research revolves around plant genetic diversity, ecology and molecular biology.

After working on lianas in subtropical China I did my diploma thesis on phenotypic plasticity of subtropical tree species. I then got the opportunity to work on genetic diversity of subtropical tree and shrub species which I did my phd thesis on.
