MRes in IIB
Students on our MRes programme gain in-depth research experience through a year-long research project, which is supported by four taught modules that focus on research skills such as science communication, bioinformatics and statistics.
Within the Institute of Integrative Biology, our MRes programme includes very diverse research areas, from molecular and biomedical research through to evolutionary and ecological work. We focus on integrating and applying modern methods and approaches across the life sciences, and we have state of the art facilities in proteomics, genomics, metabolomics*.
Our MRes is often taken by students preparing themselves for PhD applications, but also by students who want a Master’s level degree that is strongly focused on research experience.
