Within Forensic and Investigative Psychology the Department is an internationally recognised centre of excellence for the application of psychology to security and conflict.
Experimental Researchers address some of the most critical issues facing society today by advanced understanding of key brain mechanisms and critical psychological processes through working with key partners and modelling behaviour in real work scenarios. Key research includes Addiction, Appetite and Obesity, Language, Cognition and Expertise, Mental health in context and Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience.
