    Biography

    Personal Statement

    Senior Lecturer in Immunology. Joined Liverpool University in 2008. Established my research group (currently with 2 PDRAs and 4 PhD students)in Mucosal Immunity to bacterial and viral infections. Main research interests include immunity to respiratory pathogens and vaccines, and immune regulation/modulation by vaccine adjuvants. Particular interest in intranasal vaccine/adjuvants evaluation using in vitro human system. My research has been supported by fundings from NIHR, Action Medical Research, British Medical Association and SPARKS.
