Personal Statement
Mark Lutton has a BSc (Hons) degree in Zoology from the University of Edinburgh, and previous experience of working as a research assistant supporting molecular sub-typing of Cryptosporidium and Streptococcus infections in cattle. Mark has since managed a range of international projects and programmes, initially for a student-led infrastructure development charity operating across Africa and Asia. Most recently, Mark has worked for Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine as a programme manager, responsible for managing a DFID funded maternal health strengthening project in Kenya. Mark is the Senior Project Manager for the GCRF HORN Project, based in the Liverpool Science Park (IC2).
