Personal Statement

I graduated from the University of Bradford in 2005 with a BSc in Biomedical Sciences specializing in medical microbiology.I completed my PhD in 2012 and submitted my thesis entitled "Carriage of antimicrobial-resistant Escherichia coli and staphylococci in dogs in the community: molecular mechanisms". Currently I am a postdoctoral research associate on an project funded by the Environmental and Social Ecology of Human Infectious Diseases (ESEI)initiative investigating Campylobacter in the environment.
