

Athena SWAN
Each Institute in the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences has committed to advancing women's careers in science, technology, engineering, maths and medicine (STEMM) employment in higher education by setting up an Athena Swan Working Group.
The Institute is, as of October 2016, an Athena SWAN Silver award holder. We are fully committed to advancing the career progression and representation of our female academics and promoting equality and diversity in all areas and have developed a number of innovative initiatives that foster a supportive and flexible working environment for everyone.
