I am a Reader (Associate Professor) in the Department of Computer Science, University of Liverpool, where I worked on deep learning, computer vision, AI Safety and Securiety, Explainable and Trustworthy Deepfake Detection, etc. Before that, I worked for 4 years as a vice research director in the Autonomous Driving Group in SenseTime, under the supervision of Dr.Jianping Shi. I got my Ph.D. at the National Laboratory of Pattern Recognition (NLPR)] (http://www.nlpr.ia.ac.cn/en/) in the [Institute of Automation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (CASIA), under the supervision of Prof. Chunhong Pan and Prof. Shiming Xiang. After that, I worked as Postdoctoral Researcher from 2017 to 2019 with Prof. Zhongming Zhao and Prof. Yu Meng at the Aerospace Information Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences.
