Two New Mass Specs
The CPR is now home to 2 states of the art mass Burker Tims-TOF mass spectrometers.
The Bruker tims-TOF HT. Is an all-rounder targeted for high throughput projects that want to couple depth and speed with an improved MS2 resolution and is now capable of analysing TMT samples.
The Bruker Tims-TOF SCP is a sensitive instrument excellent for samples of <50ng per injection. This instrument is housed in the newly converted Single Cell Proteomics Lab housed in the CPR.
Both instruments have the option to be coupled to the Evo-SEP systems and the NanoElute LC. The Evosep has methods that have been reported to be capable of running 100, 200 and even 500 samples a day….. watch this space.
