Density-structured dynamic species distribution models for the top shells Osilinus lineatus and Gibbula umbilicalis

Density-structured population models are structured population models in which the population is structured by density (in this case, ordered categories). Here, we fit Markov models with explanatory variables to the observed transitions among density categories from large-scale survey data. The tar.gz archive below contains the code we used.

Instructions for use

Download and unpack this R code (creates directory distribution). Change to this directory, start R (requires packages nnet, rjags, mgcv), and type source("example.script.R") to run with simulated data.

See readme.txt in the tar.gz for more information.
