University of Liverpool Management School (ULMS) is seeking to appoint two Chairs in Strategy/Entrepreneurship/Innovation as part of the drive to enhance ULMS’ position as a world-class School of Management. The Chairs will sit within the Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship (SIBE) Group, led by Professor Jordi Surroca.
The appointees will make an outstanding scholarly contribution by conducting world-class research, mentoring early career researchers and supporting the development of colleagues, and enhancing the international reputation of the Group. The Chairs are also expected to shape and support new and innovative teaching directions.
The Group is keen to strengthen existing areas of research and teaching expertise as well as to break new ground in strategy, entrepreneurship, and innovation studies. Candidates with interests in the fields of digital technology and sustainability are particularly welcomed.
Members of the SIBE Group publish in the leading journals in their fields (including Strategic Management Journal, Journal of International Business Studies, Entrepreneurship, Theory & Practice, Journal of Business Venturing, and Research Policy) and in more general management journals (such as Academy of Management Journal, Organization Science, and Organization Studies). The Group also hosts the Brett Centre for Entrepreneurship, which has been developed following a donation from an alumnus, Paul Brett, to support entrepreneurship research, education and outreach in ULMS.

Salary will be internationally competitive, commensurate with the appointees’ standing and potential.
