This course will help you connect with the University and the City of Liverpool, to make the most of your experience as a student, and to maintain your wellbeing as you study. It will also help you to develop your academic skills, adapt to the new ‘hybrid active learning’ approach involving increased online study, and to develop the three Graduate Attributes we want all our students to achieve: Confidence, Digital Fluency, and Global Citizenship.
We know you'll be busy with your academic commitments, so we've developed these eight modules for you to work through in your own time.
You’ll find the course in Canvas, our new Virtual Learning Environment, which has replaced Vital – log into Canvas, using the instructions below, and check your dashboard to find the course.
To find out about all the virtual events on offer, visit the Liverpool Guild of Students website. You'll find full listings including virtual pub quizzes, crafternoons, speed-mating sessions and a range of opportunities to help you to connect and have fun alongside your academic studies.
Before accessing Canvas, you will need to activate your University computing account.
Once you have activated your account, you’ll receive a username that you will use to access the majority of University IT services including the student intranet and a University email address.
If you have any problems logging on, you can request help through the Computing Services Service Desk.
