This section of the website provides information on how to register with the University, activate your computing account and where you can find your timetable for Welcome Week.
Activating your computing account
You can activate your computing account before arriving on campus by visiting our Computing Services website. You will need your student ID number – you will find this in your welcome pack.
Activating your account will provide you with your University email address, your username, and access to the many IT services and resources essential to your student experience such as the Digital University and VITAL – the University’s virtual learning environment.
Academic registration, stage 1 and 2
Academic Registration is the process of collecting and confirming your personal and academic information.
You should start your academic registration online before you arrive at the University through our Liverpool Life portal. You will receive an email telling you when you can start this process – we expect this to be around 2 September.
Check out your Welcome Week timetable
Once you have started the academic registration process through Liverpool Life, this is also the place where you will be able to see your timetable for Welcome Week. We run a wide range of activities throughout Welcome Week (16-22 September), all designed to help you find your way around the campus, learn how to use key facilities, find out about all the amazing opportunities to get involved in university life, and make new friends.
If you have applied for University accommodation, the Accommodation team will begin allocating accommodation from Monday 21 August, so keep an eye on your email. You will need to access Liverpool Life in order to accept your accommodation offer and you will have 24 hours to do so. It is therefore a good idea to check you can access Liverpool Life as soon as possible.
