Our events programme brings art, history and science to life from creative workshops to talks and live performances

Many of our events are free and open to all and perfect for curious minds of every age. Catch a classic at our film screenings, join us for family fun on Super Saturdays or experience the museum after hours at our special late-night events.

We also host events at Ness Gardens and the Garstang Museum.

Writers are gathering for National Poetry Day

A Celebration for National Poetry Day

Thursday 1 October, 2pm-4pm

The Redbrick Writers, Kitty’s Writers, Spellow Writers and Liverpool Women Writers will celebrate National Poetry Day by sharing their own and others’ poetry. The reading will take place in the new Lightbulb Moments exhibition in the Tate Hall Museum on the second floor. Everyone is welcome. Free event, no booking required.
