The Waterhouse Cafe provides the opportunity to enjoy delicious food while soaking up the exceptional culture at the Victoria Gallery & Museum (VG&M).

Whether you’re here for a day out, attending an event or exhibition, or you live or work nearby, make sure you plan a lunch or snack break and visit the Waterhouse Cafe for a tasty treat.
The Cafe is on the ground floor of the VG&M and is fully accessible, with all seating on one level.
Opening times
Waterhouse Cafe is open Monday-Friday, 9am-4pm.
- Breakfast served 9am-11am
- Lunch served 12pm-2pm Monday-Thursday and 12pm-1.45pm Friday
- Last orders at 3.30pm
- Table service is in operation between 11.30am and 2.30pm or upon request.
Opening times may be subject to change due to events taking place at the VG&M.
Please be aware that the Cafe can be very busy between the hours of 12pm and 2pm. Quieter periods are generally 9am to 11am and 2pm to 3.30pm.
How to pay
We only accept card, contactless or Loyalty Plus payments at the VG&M.
Takeaway service
You can order food over the telephone for collection and takeaway. Simply call 0151 795 0352 and ask to place an order for takeaway.
