Suzanne qualified in 2003 as a Chartered Physiotherapist and specialised in animal physiotherapy, gaining her Master’s degree in 2007 from the Royal Veterinary College. She is qualified to work with all animals and mainly works with dogs, cats and horses but has treated a rabbit, cows, alpacas, a sheep and goat and even a chicken!
With an initial career in HR and sales of training courses Suzanne then worked for the NHS for 4 years after initial qualification. Her Masters research was published and she has written articles for small animal journals as well as spoken at special interest group conferences on small and large animal physiotherapy. As a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, Suzanne has been involved with student training since 2009 for both the University of Liverpool and the University of Western England.
Suzanne has one dog of her own, a Jack Russell cross called Oscar as well as a Hanoverian bred horse, Starsky (he came with that name), who she is training for dressage.
