    Teaching and Learning

    Undergraduate education:
    As well as being a PBL facilitator, I am an internal examiner for University of Liverpool MBChB students examining in both the LOCAS and OSCE examinations annually. Additionally, I have organised Special Study Modules in the field of H&N cancer for interested students.

    Postgraduate Education:

    MSc in Otorhinolargyngology / Head and Neck Surgery:
    I have developed a themed MSc Programme in ORL-HNS. This Masters Programme of which I am the Course Director, is the only similar qualification currently available in the UK.
    Four ORL-HNS themed Masters level modules: Head and Neck Oncology, Rhinology and Facial Plastic Surgery, Otology and Neurotology and Paediatric Otolaryngology form the core requirements of the Programme.

    Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCSEng) Course on Transoral Laser Surgery for Head and Neck Cancer:
    In 2009 I took over as Convenor of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (RCSEng) Transoral Laser Surgery course, moving the course from London to Liverpool. The course runs annually and attracts delegates from all over the world.

    I am a member of the Faculty of the UK Masters Head and Neck Dissection Course.
