Dr. Malki received his PhD in Pathology from Liverpool University after successfully awarded a prestigious scholarship from the UK government. Dr. Malki joined Liverpool Medical School as an Honorary Clinical Lecturer of Pathology with a great experience in both clinical and molecular pathology. His main interests on identification and characterization of the genes involved in malignant progression of prostate and breast cancer cells. His work is also extended to the identification of the possible biomarkers for prediction of the malignant tendency of the weakly malignant prostatic carcinomas. Dr. Malki published in well-regarded specialist journals (e.g. British Journal of Cancer, International Journal of Oncology) and generic journal (e.g. Genes and Cancer, Clinical Cancer Research). He has also been awarded several prizes and bidden successfully for large grants as a Principle Investigator. Dr. Malki serves as associate reviewers for multiple international journals. He is also elected Ambassador of the European Journal of Cancer Research (EACR) and a member of the Pathological Society of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
