Art against the world podcast

A new podcast series, Art Against the World, co-produced by Liverpool Biennial and University of Liverpool, allows listeners to deepen their engagement with this year’s Liverpool Biennial exhibition. Hosted by writer Dr Vid Simoniti (Philosophy Department), the series engages artists, curators and thinkers in conversations about the transformative potential of art.

Across six episodes, the podcast explores the exhibition theme of ‘Bedrock’: things that ground us. Guests discuss emerging family structures, Liverpool’s civic legacy and the literal, geological bedrock of the city as a metaphor for thinking about our place in the world.

The podcast is available on major platforms and at https://www.biennial.com/event/art-against-the-world-podcast/
