Personal Statement

I am interested in microcompartments, their gene organization, protein composition, structural assembly and applications. In particular, I focus on cyanobacterial carboxysomes and their cellular distribution and structural organization, by using biological imaging methods such as confocal microscopy and electron microscopy, biochemical and biophysical methods.
