Our food and agriculture systems contribute to global warming and climate change – that’s why considering sustainable food and products is so important, both for our connection to the environment and for our health and wellbeing.

Both the University and the Guild recognise the significant impact they can have on promoting ethical consumption and consumerism and are committed to providing local, organic and ethically traded food where possible.

This section provides you with information on what local, organic and Fairtrade products are, why it is important to purchase them, what we are doing to encourage their purchase on campus  well as helpful facts and tips to help you buy more sustainable food and clothing products.
