Consideration of environmental impacts and social requirements is essential in any new building development or refurbishment to help the University to reduce its carbon footprint and deliver high-quality, sustainable buildings.
The University is planning to invest £600 million in its facilities as part of its commitment to providing a world-class student experience and research environment. The investment includes a £250 million redevelopment of the University’s student accommodation. Other exciting projects include £10.5 million refurbishment of the Guild, South Campus Development, as well as energy efficiency and sustainability projects that will provide a whole transformation of the campus and University community.
The significant future investment will deliver new world-class facilities, together with ongoing improvement and refurbishment of our existing estate and key infrastructure.
