Student lifestyle survey launched

Liverpool Guild of Students (LGoS) has launched a Student Lifestyle Survey to find out what students think about a range of 'Green Living' issues, including energy and food waste, transport, recycling and climate change.

Green Guild project

The survey is a vital element of the Green Guild project, which is a £300,000 programme of student-led initiatives aimed at encouraging greener living whilst at University. The results will help inform new initiatives, including education, engagement and outreach activities.

The survey is now live at: http://nussurveys.org.uk/Surveys/Liverpool%20Guild/liverpool_guild_lifestyle.htm and staff are being asked to highlight the survey to students wherever possible to encourage engagement.

Collaborating

The Guild is collaborating with several University departments to get students and staff working together on sustainability projects, with Student Switch Off, Green Ambassadors, Start-Up Grants and Roof Gardens projects already underway. There are also a number of upcoming events including activities for Go Green Week in February.

The Green Guild project has been made possible following a successful bid by LGOS to the National Union of Students (NUS) Student Green Fund, which aims to encourage transformative, student-led sustainability projects with real impact and legacy.
