The University of Liverpool hosts events for teachers and advisers from schools and colleges across the UK throughout the academic year.


Teachers and Advisers Conference 2018

Join us for this exciting event for teachers and careers advisers involved in post 16 education.

Learn from experts in the sector as well as networking and sharing best practice with colleagues from institutions across the UK.

Friday 18th May 2018

9.30am - 3.30pm
The Victoria Gallery Museum

The programme will include:

  • Welcome address from Pro Vice-Chancellor for Education, Professor Gavin Brown
  • Keynote address from Dr Paul Redmond, The Director of Student Experience and Enhancement at the University of Liverpool
  • Updates from Charlie Smith, Professional Development Executive, UCAS
  • A choice of Workshops:

Student Finance - Jon Legg, Funding Information Partners Account Manager, Student Finance England

Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) - Jennifer Obaditch, Head of Curriculum Projects, AQA

University Admissions - Gaynor Glover, Associate Director, Admissions, University of Liverpool

This is a free conference, lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Conveniently this coincides with Light Night which is an annual arts festival when the city museums and galleries are open late into the night. There will be free performances and classes to take part in if you fancy turning your CPD day into a mini-break!
