Health and wellbeing on campus

The University of Liverpool is committed to ensuring that all visitors to our campus during the pandemic are safe.

With the rollout of the UK Government’s ‘Living with Covid’ plan in England, we understand that for many, this is a moment that we have looked forward to, but we also appreciate that some of you may be concerned about the relaxation of measures and feeling apprehensive about coming onto campus. In considering what this latest update means for us, the safety of our University community remains the ongoing priority.

By continuing to take personal responsibility for our health and actions we can help to keep each other safe. We’re asking all visitors to campus to:

  • Stay at home if you’re unwell – if you develop any COVID-19 symptoms, including cold symptoms, just like when you have the flu, you should stay home to avoid spreading any infection. Please note we will not be checking test results or passes at events.
  • Wear a face covering – Face coverings are required in certain circumstances, particularly if you live with someone who tests positive. Please see the full guidance below for further information. More generally, we still strongly encourage their use in enclosed, congested areas.

Please remember to bring a face covering with you to campus as we will have a limited supply to hand out on the day.

Please read our Visitor Guidance Document (word) for information around visiting campus.

Legal disclaimer – the University will make all reasonable endeavours to ensure our recruitment events take place as advertised. In the unlikely event of having to cancel or re-arrange an event due to circumstances beyond our control, we regret that the University of Liverpool cannot be held liable for any loss or damage incurred, including but not limited to travel and accommodation costs.
