Entry Requirements

A level requirements	ABB (this is the typical entry requirement) for this course.
Subject requirements	Including one science Acceptable sciences: Mathematics, Further Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Geology, Geography, Environmental Science, Applied Science, Use of Mathematics. For applicants from England: Where a science has been taken at A level (Chemistry, Biology or Physics), a pass in the Science practical of each subject will be required.
BTEC Level 3 Diploma	D*DD in relevant Diploma, students will be invited to attend interview
International Baccalaureate	33 overall including one Higher Level science and no score less than 4
Irish Leaving Certificate	H1, H2, H2, H2, H3, H3 including H2 or above in one science
Scottish Higher/Advanced Higher	ABB in Advanced Highers, including one science subject
Welsh Baccalaureate Advanced	Acceptable at grade B including A Levels at grades AB (including one science)
Access	Considered if taking a relevant subject. 45 Level 3 credits in graded units, including 30 at Distinction and a further 15 with at least Merit. 15 Distinctions are required in one sciences. GCSE English and Mathematics grade C/4 or above also required. Students will be invited to attend interview

Extended Project Qualification	Applicants who offer the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and meet our offer criteria will be made the standard offer, plus an alternative offer. This will be at one A Level grade lower plus a grade A in the EPQ, for example the offer would be ABB or BBB plus A in the EPQ.
