|Subject requirements||Applicants not offering Physics or Further Maths A Level must have at least one Mechanics unit at grade B in Mathematics A Level and must be studying another Science subject at A Level. Accepted Science subjects are Biology, Chemistry, Computing, Economics, Electronics, Environmental Science, Geography, Geology, Human Biology and Statistics.
Applicants not offering a Mechanics unit as part of A Level Mathematics would also be considered if they have AS Physics grade B alongside 3 A Levels including Mathematics and an accepted Science subject.
For applicants from England: Where a science has been taken at A level (Chemistry, Biology or Physics), a pass in the Science practical of each subject will be required.

|Extended Project Qualification||Applicants who offer the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) and meet our A Level offer criteria will be made the standard offer, plus an alternative offer. This will be at one A Level grade lower plus a grade A in the EPQ, for example the offer would be ABB or BBB plus A in the EPQ.|

Most (see exceptions below) of our non-clinical programmes welcome General Studies as one of three A levels upon which we make an offer. However, applicants may offer only one of General Studies, Critical Thinking, Citizenship Studies among their three A levels.
General Studies is not considered for:
- Diagnostic Radiography
- Life Sciences
- Management School
- Occupational Therapy
- Veterinary Science
