The University is committed to continually improving the quality of its student experience and, following significant large scale capital investment, we are transforming our campus to provide you with high quality learning and teaching spaces and research environments.

Recent projects have included:

  • £68 million Materials Innovation Factory (MIF), in collaboration with Unilever
  • £22 million on the Ronald Ross building for the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences
  • £32 million in Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences facilities, South Campus
  • £12.3 million in an extension to the Management School
  • £58 million Crown Place residential development at the city centre campus
  • £14 million in a refurbishment of its Guild of Students

 Future planned projects include:

  • £15 million for Sensor City
  • £25 million for the redevelopment of the School of Environmental Sciences
  • £33 million for the redevelopment of the Department of Chemistry
  • £12 million for the Digital Innovation Factory
  • £30 million for the development of Electrical Engineering and Electronics
  • £25 million Law and Social Justice development
  • £15 million new lecture and performance hub
  • £17 million for the redevelopment of the School of Architecture
