Institute of Population Health
The Institute of Population Health drives population health scholarship through scientific programmes and civic partnerships, infused with education, learning and research, for understanding how biology, behaviours, environments, policies and technologies interact to determine physical and mental health, wellbeing and life chances.
Our aim is to undertake high quality research that is not only internationally recognised as being of world-class standard but also informs the educational provision of the School. The integration of Health Sciences within the Faculty of Health and Life Sciences places it at the forefront of developments in the education of a wide range of healthcare professionals. The diversity of disciplines in the Faculty provides a stimulating learning environment, which enriches the student experience of university life.
