Alternative qualifications and all non-UK qualifications, which are considered equivalent to a UK honours degree, would be subject to approval by Director of Studies in consultation with the University Admissions Officers.

Applications from students with a professional background rather than an UG degree will be assessed in accordance with the principles of the University’s AP(E)L policy, and the practice and precedents of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.

International qualifications

Applications from international students are welcomed. Country specific information on entry requirements is listed on our website: www.liv.ac.uk/international/countries/index.htm. International qualifications will be evaluated in line with the National Academic Recognition Information Centre (NARIC) guidelines.

Qualifications accepted by the University can be found on our International webpages. Please see www.liv.ac.uk/international for English Language requirements specific to your country.
